Marie and Mike

Marie and Mike had such a beautiful wedding at Meson Sabika a few weeks ago. We were honored to be a part of their day, and truly enjoyed being around everyone present!

Jennifer and Marie both volunteer at Second City Canine Rescue, and we were thrilled that their SCCR Alum, Murph, stood up in their wedding as their ring bearer for their special day.

Marie and Mike’s laughter-filled ceremony was absolutely lovely, and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye watching them say “I do”!

Sara and Simon

Sara and Simon had a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Morton Arboretum’s Thornhill Center. The Morton Arboretum is one of my favorite places to photograph as the scenery is just breathtaking anywhere you turn. We started with a first look at the Fragrance Garden, then made a stop at Meadow Lake, and then finished out portraits up at the Spruce Plot. It was a wonderful day! Congratulations to Sara and Simon!!

Aleesha and David's Wedding

Aleesha and David were married at the beautiful Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, IL. We love this space, and could spend hours wandering the aisles of plants, succulents and trinkets.  It was the perfect setting for Aleesha and David's late summer ceremony!

These two were so fun to work with, and we absolutely loved all the personal and diy details that they incorporated into their wedding!

Scott and Mary's Wedding

Scott and Mary had an adorable wedding at the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club  which, coincidentally, is where we were married just over 8 years ago! Mary's dress was simply amazing, and we love that Scott wore a pair of Chucks (same as Jake on our wedding day)!   We truly loved their simple, thoughtful details, their soft color palette and the way everything pulled together.
