Lindsey and Eric

I photographed Lindsey and Eric’s wedding ceremony at Company 251 last September and I finally got to photograph their reception at the same location the other week. It was kind of strange to pick up where we left off month ago but it was also wonderful! I felt like I got to relive their beautiful wedding day all over again. Also, I don’t usually get rest before the reception which sometimes I need and I feel like I got one really really long nap in after their ceremony. So I was all fired up and full of energy. I loved being able to join in the celebration of Lindsey and Eric’s marriage. Congratulations!!

Peter and Sarah

It's always a special honor to be included in the weddings of our family.  Jennifer's cousin Peter, and his stunning bride, Sarah, had the sweetest DIY wedding at the Farnsley Moremen Landing in Louisville, KY a few weeks ago.  Their beautiful, heartfelt ceremony was filled with laughter and love, and we couldn't be happier for the two of them.

We loved all their delicate and simple details, and the way Peter couldn't take his eyes off of his new wife - or the smile from his face.  Our kids loved the ice cream bar, and exploring the beautiful grounds of the property!

Many congratulations to this amazing couple as they start their life together.

Erin and John

Erin and John got married this past February at the fabulous Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago.  Their ceremony and the reception were held upstairs in Skyline Loft.  We are obsessed with the lighting and drapery and that Art of Imagination put together and the flowers from Steve's Flower Market were gorgeous.  It was wonderful to work for the Kielty family again (I photographed Erin's sister's wedding 7 years ago) and I had a ton of fun capturing all the crazy dance floor shenanigans.  Check out some of my favorite photos from their day!

Samantha and Kyle

Samantha and Kyle got married this past fall at Morris Country Club. I met up with Samantha at her parent's home for some getting ready shots and the plan was to go to the venue for a first look and bunch of outdoor portraits but by the time we got to Morris Country Club it was pouring rain.  I quickly found a spot to do the first look in the entryway and Samantha and Kyle didn't miss a beat. We grabbed some umbrellas and went outside. We didn't last long out there but still had a grand old time!  The ceremony had to be switched to the reception space but by the time it was done the storm had passed and we were able to go outside and take advantage of the sun and the beautiful landscape! Throughout the day Samantha and Kyle had only smiles and laughter and it was such a joy to be able to capture everything. Take a look at a few of their photos! Katie and Jorge

Katie and Jorge got married on a beautiful fall day this past October.  Their ceremony was held in the gorgeous Baker Memorial Church and their reception was just a few blocks away in the Rainbow Room at Hotel Baker in St. Charles, IL  We did a bunch of bridal party portraits along the fox river and tried to get their puppy in on the action, too!  Jennifer and I had an amazing time working with Katie and Jorge and loved every bit of their wedding.
