My name is Jake Moreland and I live in Downers Grove, IL. I am an energetic, confident, and easy going photographer and artist. My style of photography is bright, joyful, and from the heart and I love to capture real, non-posed moments.

I started photographing professionally in 2005 and opened Two Birds Photography in 2008. I have photographed so many wonderful weddings, couples, and individuals for almost 20 years and would love the chance to capture your stories as well!

My business name “Two Birds Photography” represents capturing the beautiful love of two people coming together in celebration. My role is to allow my clients to perceive their wedding story through the vision of my creative mind and artistic eyes. The feathers represent the gifts of visual storytelling that will lift you up years after your wedding day has passed.

An avid supporter of animal welfare, I will make a donation to One Tail at a Time when you book me as your wedding photographer.

I am the proud father to my three awesome sons and rescue cat who I fondly refer to as my unpaid interns. When not photographing professionally you can find me out hiking, taking photos in nature, picking up trash in my neighborhood, at record stores, skateboarding with my kids, or making art.
