Emily and Dominic

Congratulations to Emily and Dominic! They got married a couple of weeks ago at a really fantastic venue called Brix on the Fox in Carpentersville. It was a bit windy but at least it was warm for March. We made the best of the weather and their wedding party knew how to have fun. I had such an amazing time spending the day with Emily and Dominic and am excited to share some photos from their wedding! -Jake

Alexa and Caleb

Cradled by the snow,

Ice and wind…

Winter chill keeps us close

By the fire

Of our heart’s desire.

I photographed Alexa and Caleb’s wedding a couple of weeks ago in Wheaton, IL. Their ceremony was held in the beautiful Gary United Methodist church followed by a reception at the classy Moment on Main. I had so much fun braving the blizzard and doing some crazy photos out in the snow and wind as we walked down the street after they got married. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience a winter blizzard than celebrating with Alexa and Caleb!

Emilie and Ralph

Chicago has a special place in the hearts of Emilie and Ralph and they took many dates to watch the Cubs play at Wrigley Field. So when they got engaged it was natural that they wanted to do their photos at Wrigley Field. They booked a tour and as the tour was progressing I took their portraits in different spots around the stadium. After the tour we took a quick trip to North Ave beach for some beautiful view of the city skyline. It was such a memorable session and I’m happy Emilie and Ralph chose me to capture this time in their lives!

Tera and Michael

On a bright and sunny early September Saturday Tera and Michael got married downtown Chicago at TheWit hotel. After a few getting ready photos they had a private first look on a rooftop patio before we did some portraits with the bridal party. TheWit is within walking distance to some really great scenic backgrounds. We started with some photos in front of the iconic Chicago Theater sign and then finished up with photos on the state street bridge. They had a sweet ceremony in the ballroom followed by cocktails on the rooftop. Their reception was full of excitement and this group loved to dance! Here’s a preview of their wedding day. Congrats Tera and Michael!!
