Michelle and Michael had the sweetest day for their wedding a few weeks ago. And it goes without saying, that anybody that has a Dog of Honor, are our people!

We had such a fun time hanging out with them, and capturing every moment of their beautiful day. Thankfully, we were able to squeeze in all the portraits with them at the Morton Arboretum before torrential downpours, and had a blast at their reception at County Line Orchard!

We loved being a part of their celebration, and can’t wait to share all of their photos!

Caprice and Ryan

Caprice and Ryan got married a few weeks ago in a cute little church in Mokena called Parker Road Bible Church and then partied the night away at CD and Me in Frankfort, IL. We did a bunch of bridal party portraits downtown Frankfort. The weather was sprinkling a bit but the heavy rain held off long enough for us to get all our photos in. Their reception brought back memories because I photographed one of my very first weddings like 15 years ago at that venue. It was awesome to be back there again! It was such a pleasure hanging out with Caprice and Ryan and photographing their beautiful day!

Chelsea and John

This past fall we had the pleasure of photographing Chelsea and John's wedding at the beautiful Dunham Woods Riding Club. It ended up being a rainy day but as I looked around and began scoping the location I knew that I wasn't going to have trouble finding places to shoot. It's an old building with lots of charm! Even though we did the majority of the photos inside that didn't stop Chelsea and John from braving the rain and going outdoors for a few shots. I'm glad they did, too, because they had a really cool red horse barn and some pretty scenery. We had a great time photographing their wedding and we hope we get to shoot at this place again sometime!

Their florist was Jamie from Town and Country, the cake from Sugar Path, and their DJ was Rachel with Toast and Jam.

Erin and John

Erin and John got married this past February at the fabulous Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago.  Their ceremony and the reception were held upstairs in Skyline Loft.  We are obsessed with the lighting and drapery and that Art of Imagination put together and the flowers from Steve's Flower Market were gorgeous.  It was wonderful to work for the Kielty family again (I photographed Erin's sister's wedding 7 years ago) and I had a ton of fun capturing all the crazy dance floor shenanigans.  Check out some of my favorite photos from their day!

Samantha and Kyle

Samantha and Kyle got married this past fall at Morris Country Club. I met up with Samantha at her parent's home for some getting ready shots and the plan was to go to the venue for a first look and bunch of outdoor portraits but by the time we got to Morris Country Club it was pouring rain.  I quickly found a spot to do the first look in the entryway and Samantha and Kyle didn't miss a beat. We grabbed some umbrellas and went outside. We didn't last long out there but still had a grand old time!  The ceremony had to be switched to the reception space but by the time it was done the storm had passed and we were able to go outside and take advantage of the sun and the beautiful landscape! Throughout the day Samantha and Kyle had only smiles and laughter and it was such a joy to be able to capture everything. Take a look at a few of their photos!
