Staci and Patrick
What a gorgeous August wedding day Staci and Patrick had at the Morton Arboretum the other week! It was sunny and beautiful and they had the perfect setting at the Grand Garden for their ceremony. The day was full of laughter and joy and fun and I am so grateful that Staci and Patrick chose me to photograph their day. Capturing these important moments of people in love joining their lives fills my heart and I love every bit of it. One of my favorite moments from this wedding is Staci and Patrick walking down the aisle and all the guests tossing dried flower petals at them. They were beaming!!
Special thanks to Nick Holstein for being my second photographer! His expertise and creative eye is always appreciated. Props to Ashley Printz of Effortless Events for coordinating another flawless wedding. If anybody is looking for an officiant I highly recommend Anne Styx of Rev for Whatev. I’ve worked with them a few times now and they do such a great job. Enjoy the photos!

McKenzie and Quinn
McKenzie and Quinn got married last month on a gorgeous September afternoon on the expansive grounds of the Thornhill Center at the Morton Arboretum. Everything was perfect and what a wonderful group of people it was to work for. It couldn’t have been any better! The trees at the arboretum held McKenzie and Quinn in their boughs as they exchanged their vows and started their lives together as a married couple. I wish them all the best!
Cayla and Anthony
Cayla and Anthony got married a few weeks ago on chilly but beautiful November day at the Morton Arboretum. They braved the cold and we took a bunch of portraits in nature to catch the last of the fall color. Their intimate ceremony was held in the Gingko room and then the same room was flipped for their reception. It was such a pleasure to photograph the love that Cayla and Anthony have for each other. Congratulations!! Thank you to Cayla and Anthony from my heart for having me be a part of their day. -Jake
Maggie and Eric
Maggie and Eric got married this past October in the Fragrance Garden at the beautiful Morton Arboretum. Rain threatened to pour down on us but that didn’t stop them from getting outdoors to do all their portraits and to keep the ceremony plan A on schedule. This couple was seriously fun to photograph. So much laughter, love, and positivity throughout the day. The theme of their reception was, i kid you not, video games!! They even had mini arcade games at each table and Maggie and Eric duked it out with Street Fighter. I won’t mention who won. All the decor was hand made by the couple. Thank you to Maggie and Eric for having me be a part of their wedding day!!
