A couple of weeks ago i had the pleasure of photographing Jean and Robert's wedding at the beautiful ivy covered Kenilworth Union Church! The day started off a little bit wet but you wouldn't be able to tell by the photos. This church had an amazing walkway with arches that we used for the first look and a bunch of the portraits. Their reception was held at the Chevy Chase Country Club where we had some great late afternoon sunlight for a couple more portraits. When I did their engagement session they mentioned they were taking dance lessons and it paid off because their first dance was perfect! Enjoy looking at a few of my favorite photos from their day!

Brittany and Ryan's Wedding
Brittany and Ryan were married a couple of weeks ago at the First Church of the Nazarene in Kankakee and their reception was held next to the beautiful Kankakee River at the Elks Country Club in St. Anne. So much thought was put into every detail at this intimate wedding. One of Brittany's friends did her make-up and another friend handmade her dress. I witnessed one of the sweetest ceremonies and first dances that I've ever seen at this wedding (Oh, and confetti canons and a ukulele!). Congratulations Brittany and Ryan! -Jake
Scott and Mary's Wedding
Scott and Mary had an adorable wedding at the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club which, coincidentally, is where we were married just over 8 years ago! Mary's dress was simply amazing, and we love that Scott wore a pair of Chucks (same as Jake on our wedding day)! We truly loved their simple, thoughtful details, their soft color palette and the way everything pulled together.
