Tera and Michael

On a bright and sunny early September Saturday Tera and Michael got married downtown Chicago at TheWit hotel. After a few getting ready photos they had a private first look on a rooftop patio before we did some portraits with the bridal party. TheWit is within walking distance to some really great scenic backgrounds. We started with some photos in front of the iconic Chicago Theater sign and then finished up with photos on the state street bridge. They had a sweet ceremony in the ballroom followed by cocktails on the rooftop. Their reception was full of excitement and this group loved to dance! Here’s a preview of their wedding day. Sara and Ryan

In December I photographed Sara and Ryan’s wedding at Bottom Lounge in Chicago. It was the perfect venue for two music lovers to get married at! I loved the loft style atmosphere of the reception space and the backdrop of the ‘L’ on Lake. They got ready at the Wit downtown Chicago before heading over the Bottom Lounge for their ceremony. Even though it was a little chilly Sara and Ryan were willing to walk a couple of blocks to do some portraits in front of some nearby street art.
