Sara and Ryan

In December I photographed Sara and Ryan’s wedding at Bottom Lounge in Chicago. It was the perfect venue for two music lovers to get married at! I loved the loft style atmosphere of the reception space and the backdrop of the ‘L’ on Lake. They got ready at the Wit downtown Chicago before heading over the Bottom Lounge for their ceremony. Even though it was a little chilly Sara and Ryan were willing to walk a couple of blocks to do some portraits in front of some nearby street art. Tracy and Mike

October is always a super busy month for us and for good reason. It's a really beautiful time of the year! Tracy and Mike's wedding happened to be on the nicest day this past October as it was 72 degrees and sunny which was especially nice because the chose to have an outdoor ceremony. Their venue of choice was the amazing Farm at Dover which is in southern Wisconsin. There was so much charm packed into this place that I knew wherever I turned I could make amazing photos. Tracy and Mike were such an awesome couple to work for and I had so much fun capturing their day!  

Zoe and Thomas' Wedding

We love weddings held at the Morton Arboretum!  Their beautiful and natural landscapes offer boundless opportunities for portraits, even in the dead of winter! Zoe and Tom had such a lovely wedding, and we are so happy to have been a part of their sweet day!  We loved their style, and genuine and visible love for each other.  We enjoyed shooting both film and digital throughout the day, and love what we came away with!

Mary Therese and Jim's Wedding

Mary Therese and Jim had a beautiful and elegant wedding last month! They got married at their home church at St. Christina's in Oak Lawn and their reception was held at the amazing Chicago Cultural Center.  The Chicago Cultural Center is one of the coolest places I've photographed. Everywhere you turn there's something interesting to look at!  As for portraits we hit up the south garden at the Art Institute and the LaSalle St bridge downtown.  There's so much eye candy from this wedding. Elisa and Matt's Wedding

Elisa and Matt got married a couple of weeks ago at the beautiful Heritage Prairie Farm. We loved the scenery and the relaxed feel of their day on the farm (not to mention their delicious homegrown organic food!).  Elisa and Matt's outdoor ceremony was held behind the farmhouse with rows of plants growing in the background.  And what can be better than parading away from the ceremony with instruments? These guys are an amazing group of people to work for (I've photographed both of Elisa's siblings weddings).  It was great to hang out with the Szopa family again!
