Nicole and Connor

I’ve been excited to showcase Nicole and Connor’s wedding ever since I photographed their day a few weeks ago. I would have gotten this up sooner but, between Nick and I, we took a ton of photos. Seriously, everywhere we turned there was something exciting to photograph. I was just one piece in the puzzle, but had a blast doing my part to make to make Nicole and Connor’s wedding day vision come to life. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Church of the Holy Family followed by a reception at the fabulous JW Marriott in downtown Chicago. They were so much fun to work with and how often can I say that I got to incorporate a stop to McDonald’s into the photo shoot, haha. Tera and Michael

On a bright and sunny early September Saturday Tera and Michael got married downtown Chicago at TheWit hotel. After a few getting ready photos they had a private first look on a rooftop patio before we did some portraits with the bridal party. TheWit is within walking distance to some really great scenic backgrounds. We started with some photos in front of the iconic Chicago Theater sign and then finished up with photos on the state street bridge. They had a sweet ceremony in the ballroom followed by cocktails on the rooftop. Their reception was full of excitement and this group loved to dance! Here’s a preview of their wedding day. A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Elizabeth and David’s wedding at Lacuna Artist Lofts in Chicago, IL. I knew I was going to have alot of fun at this wedding when the bridesmaids were dancing through the whole getting ready part of the day. Everything just got better from that point on! We did portraits downtown Chicago on the LaSalle bridge and the south gardens at the art institute. Their outdoor summer wedding was held on the rooftop of Lacuna with the Chicago skyline set as the backdrop. The positive energy during the reception was incredible as the best man and maids of honor gave their toasts and the dance floor was full of intense dance moves. I had a blast being a part of Elizabeth and David’s wedding and can’t wait to show them all of their photos! -Jake
