A blog of our current photography work.

Colton and Val

Colton and Val were originally going to have their wedding back in July and rescheduled for the first weekend in November. Strangely enough we had almost summer-like weather! They had their small outdoor ceremony on a little island on pond at the Smith Horse Farm in Kankakee. It’s no secret that I love backyard weddings and when the client’s backyard is a horse farm I am in heaven! Here’s a few highlights from Colton and Val’s wedding: working for the Smith family again, horses, a sunny AND warm November day, Colton’s cowboy hat, Val’s turquoise necklace, and all the smiles! I knew it was going to be an amazing day when I arrived and the ring bearers were fishing. Congrats to Colton and Val! I had the best time photographing their wedding ceremony!!

Kunitz Family

The Kunitz family sneaked in their fall family portraits on one of those freak summer-like days we had last week. They mentioned that they do family photos every year and I could tell as they were super easy to pose and they seemed to read my mind of what I was trying to do. Thanks for choosing Two Birds Photography to do your pictures this year!

Taylor Family

The Taylor family reached out to me last month because they had lost all of their family photos and wanted to create some new memories for the walls of their new house. So I met up with them at Graue Mill and made that happen! They started out with a more retro look before doing an outfit change to go with the fall leaves. I had a wonderful time creating these images for them and I hope they had as much fun as I did!

Anderson Family

Fall leaves and a puppy kisses is the surest way to have the perfect photo shoot. Way to go to the Anderson family for achieving this! Also, it ended up being like summer out which sure made things easy. Thank you to the Andersons for having me take their portraits. I had a blast!

Quinn Family

I met up with the Quinn family last week for some family portraits at Lyman Woods. It ended up being about 60 degrees out which was great since I did photos exactly a year ago at the same location and it was about 30 degrees and everyone was freezing. Anyways, the Quinns were so much fun to photograph and their son was just so excited to be out in the woods and exploring. I had so much fun with them and can’t wait to share all of their photos!
