Marcie and Montel

Last month Marcie and Montel got married at the amazing Harry Caray’s ballroom in Lombard. Their ceremony took place in one portion of the ballroom that was later flipped in the rest of the reception. It rained just enough for some good luck and we were able to get out to Lyman woods for some portraits in the forest! We had a blast hanging out with Marcie and Montel all day and wish them congratulations!! Thank you to Rachel Langlois for her amazing work as my second photographer. As always she did a terrific job!

Maggie and Patrick

Last year I photographed Maggie and Patrick’s intimate backyard ceremony and last month they had their church ceremony at the gorgeous Ascension Catholic Church in Oak Park followed by a reception with all of their family and friends at Venue West in Chicago (put together by the amazing Clementine Custom Events). Congrats to Maggie and Patrick a second time and I’m so happy that they were able to finally have their party!! A special thanks to my friend Ryan Timm for capturing all these beautiful photos for me. He’s the best!!

Karlie and Shawn

Karlie and Shawn got married a couple of weeks ago on a beautiful sunny day at the Eaglewood Resort in Itasca. Their sweet ceremony was held outdoors overlooking the golf course and surrounded by their family and friends. I especially love their walk-in-the-park photos that they did at sunset. So beautiful!! Congratulations to Karlie and Shawn!!

Megan and Joel

I photographed Megan and Joel’s wedding this past July at the beautiful Brewster Creek Forest Preserve. Their day started at the Herrington Inn where they got ready. We did a first look in the courtyard and did most of the portraits around there. It was quite a warm summer day so it was nice to be able to duck in and out of the air conditioning at the inn. It rained briefly right before the ceremony to add some good luck and they were able to have their ceremony outside. It made me happy they included their pup in their ceremony! A huge thank you to Megan and Joel for having me be a part of their day!

Vicky and AJ

Vicky and AJ got married several weeks ago on a lovely and sunny summer day. Their ceremony took place at Old St. Pat’s Church in Lake Forest followed by a reception at Independence Grove in Libertyville. I loved all the thoughtful little details that Vicky put into her wedding but I especially love the bowtie on her dog Klaus and Klaus’ specialty drink at the reception. Vicky and AJ were so amazing to work for and I wish them a heartfelt congratulations!!
