Marcie and Montel

Last month Marcie and Montel got married at the amazing Harry Caray’s ballroom in Lombard. Their ceremony took place in one portion of the ballroom that was later flipped in the rest of the reception. It rained just enough for some good luck and we were able to get out to Lyman woods for some portraits in the forest! We had a blast hanging out with Marcie and Montel all day and wish them congratulations!! Thank you to Rachel Langlois for her amazing work as my second photographer. As always she did a terrific job!

Kathryn and Nick

Kathryn and Nick got married a couple of weeks ago in Lombard at the amazing Harry Caray’s restaurant. They had their ceremony and reception at the same place which makes things so easy. The day started with some getting ready shots at Kathryn’s parents house and then I took Kathryn and her bridesmaids downtown Downers Grove for some urban alley photos. Then I met Nick and his groomsmen for a few photos outside on the patio at Harry Caray's. After their sweet indoor ceremony we took a quick trip to Lyman Woods for some bridal party shots in the forest. Kathryn and Nick are such a fun couple and I was laughing along with them all day. This date was their second time rescheduling and their cake topper said it all: “About damn time”. Thanks Kathryn and Nick for having me capture your wedding day!!

Melissa and Brian's Engagement Session

You all know how much we love our pets, so we are always excited when people want to include their pooches in their sessions!  Could their little guy, Joey, be any sweeter?  That bow-tie just kills me! Melissa and Brian chose to do their Engagement Session at Lilacia Park, and the flowers couldn't have been more perfect!  We then cruised over to the local DQ, before ending up at their house for a few more shots.

I had so much fun with these two, and we can't wait for their wedding next year!

The other day I met up with Melissa and Brian for their engagement portraits at Lilacia Park in Lombard.  It ended up being a beautiful spring day and I love that they got their pug Joey dressed up for some shots!
