Maggie and Eric got married this past October in the Fragrance Garden at the beautiful Morton Arboretum. Rain threatened to pour down on us but that didn’t stop them from getting outdoors to do all their portraits and to keep the ceremony plan A on schedule. This couple was seriously fun to photograph. So much laughter, love, and positivity throughout the day. The theme of their reception was, i kid you not, video games!! They even had mini arcade games at each table and Maggie and Eric duked it out with Street Fighter. I won’t mention who won. All the decor was hand made by the couple. Thank you to Maggie and Eric for having me be a part of their wedding day!!

Gabriella and Patrick
Gabriella and Patrick got married on a gorgeous sunny day in September. Their ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Orland Hills followed by bridal party portraits in downtown Frankfort. Their reception was held at the amazing Tuscany Falls in Mokena. Their day was packed full of special details and memories for us to capture. Some of my favorites were the first look with Gabriella and her bridesmaids, the groomsmen toast with the custom beer glasses, the champaign bottle with the bridal party on the fire escape, and their exit with bubbles out of the church. Congratulations Gabriella and Patrick!
Ahnaleza and Mark
Ahnaleza and Mark got married a few weeks ago in Chicago at the classy Salvatore’s restaurant. The day started at an air BNB in the neighborhood where we had some fun with champaign toasts with the ladies and some album cover group photos with the guys. Their sweet ceremony was held in Salvatores and we did some quick portraits in the garden next door while their room was flipped for the reception. They ended their day with some great dance moves and a nighttime stroll under the street lamps. A huge thank you to Ahnaleza and Mark for having me photograph their wedding day!
Kim and Tony
Kim and Tony got married a few weeks ago at the fabulous Silver Lakes Country Club in Orland. I loved all the fall colors of her flowers and the bridesmaid dresses. Also, I thought it was amazing that instead of a cake for desert they had donuts! A couple of my favorite moments were Tony playing with his daughters while we were doing portraits and the dance with Kim’s dad at the end of the night. I had such a great time spending the day with them!
Michelle and Steve
I’ve photographed so many amazing weddings this year and Michelle and Steve’s wedding was no exception! They got married at the gorgeous Silver Lake Country Club in Orland. Their ceremony took place on the golf course with a beautiful lake as the backdrop. There were so many great moments at their wedding. I especially loved their exit with streamers! Congratulations to Michelle and Steve!!
