The Brookfield Zoo has a special place in our hearts as we take our boys there all the time. I was thrilled when Kirsten and Brad booked me to photograph their zoo wedding. We did a first look at the Dragonfly Marsh and then went around to a few different locations around the zoo for portraits. Their sweet ceremony took place with the scenic formal pool in the background. Every detail was gorgeous! Just look at the flowers by Steuber Florist and the custom artwork on the ceremony programs and name cards by the artist Fanny Moy Beube. It was such a perfect day!

A couple of years ago I photographed Sandra and Andy’s spring wedding and recently they contacted me to do some professional portraits. It was so great to be able to catch up and do some more work for them. I couldn’t resist taking a few more couples portraits, too!

Sara and Simon

Sara and Simon had a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Morton Arboretum’s Thornhill Center. The Morton Arboretum is one of my favorite places to photograph as the scenery is just breathtaking anywhere you turn. We started with a first look at the Fragrance Garden, then made a stop at Meadow Lake, and then finished out portraits up at the Spruce Plot. It was a wonderful day! Congratulations to Sara and Simon!!
