I’ve photographed so many amazing weddings this year and Michelle and Steve’s wedding was no exception! They got married at the gorgeous Silver Lake Country Club in Orland. Their ceremony took place on the golf course with a beautiful lake as the backdrop. There were so many great moments at their wedding. I especially loved their exit with streamers! Congratulations to Michelle and Steve!!
The first thing I saw at Jessica and Trevor’s wedding was their names on the billboard in front of the Rialto Square Theater and I knew that their wedding was going to be amazing! Jessica and Trevor’s ceremony was held on the stage and Trevor was raised up on the platform which is, hands down, the best groom entrance I’ve seen. Their theme was “For those who love, time is eternal” and they had clocks and references to the theme in all of their details. Jessica and Trevor were so great to work for and I wish them all the happiness! Thank you to Rachel Langlois for photographing with me and capturing so many great images!
Kim and Ryan got married a couple weeks ago at the First Congregational Church in Downtown Downers Grove surrounded by their immediate family. Afterwards, we took a quick car ride over to Patriot’s Park for some couple portraits (fortunately, we beat the rain!). They wanted to get their golden retriever in some photos so it was really nice of Ryan’s mom to meet us with their pup! Congrats Kim and Ryan! I can’t wait to show you all of your photos. -Jake
Last month Marcie and Montel got married at the amazing Harry Caray’s ballroom in Lombard. Their ceremony took place in one portion of the ballroom that was later flipped in the rest of the reception. It rained just enough for some good luck and we were able to get out to Lyman woods for some portraits in the forest! We had a blast hanging out with Marcie and Montel all day and wish them congratulations!! Thank you to Rachel Langlois for her amazing work as my second photographer. As always she did a terrific job!
Last year I photographed Maggie and Patrick’s intimate backyard ceremony and last month they had their church ceremony at the gorgeous Ascension Catholic Church in Oak Park followed by a reception with all of their family and friends at Venue West in Chicago (put together by the amazing Clementine Custom Events). Congrats to Maggie and Patrick a second time and I’m so happy that they were able to finally have their party!! A special thanks to my friend Ryan Timm for capturing all these beautiful photos for me. He’s the best!!
