Lauren and Andrew

I’ve been looking forward to photograph Lauren and Andrew’s wedding for a couple of years and I am so excited to be showing a preview from their day! I did their engagement photos in 2019 and since then they had to make a few changes to their wedding plans and they welcomed a sweet baby girl into the world. They had their wedding at Lauren’s parents property and they transformed the place into a beautiful wonderland. To get to the ceremony site the guests walked along a forest trail and were greeted with cocktails. They then crossed the bridge where Andrew proposed to Lauren. Their ceremony was held under the most gorgeous floral backdrop made by Life in Bloom. Fortunately, Lauren and Andrew were able to say their vows and they got married right before the rain came. I had such a great time photographing their wedding!! Hannah and Sam

I had the pleasure of photographing Hannah and Sam’s wedding earlier this month on a beautiful summer day in their parent’s backyard in La Grange surrounded by their immediate family and friends. We started the day with some getting ready photos and portraits at the Hilton in Oak Brook. We found some really pretty spots on the golf course that made it look like we were deep in the woods. Their intimate backyard ceremony was so sweet and I love that they passed around their wedding bands to all the guests to be blessed. How cool is it that they had an artist paint their ceremony live? Afterwards, I went with them downtown La Grange for a few quick urban shots. Dinner was provided by the most delicious food truck and they danced the night away under the string lights. Hannah and Sam’s wedding day was perfect! Special thanks to Nick Holstein for photographing with me!

Adrian and Katie

Adrian and Katie got married a few weeks ago at the fabulous Monte Bello Estate in Lockport. I really enjoyed photographing at this venue as everywhere I turned presented itself as a great backdrop. As soon as Adrian and Katie were ready I set them up for their first look on a cute little bridge in the garden and they said their vows together privately. Afterwards, we walked around with their bridal party for portraits and took advantage of the gorgeous scenery. Their sweet ceremony was held inside followed by cocktails and a really fun reception in the tent. We finished the night with a few candid shots in the dark next to the pool. I had such an amazing time capturing Adrian and Katie’s wedding!!

Lilly and Steven

Lilly and Steven got married a couple of weeks ago at Assumption Catholic Church in downtown Chicago. Having your wedding at Assumption is like getting married in an art museum. The ceiling is painted with gorgeous murals and the light from the windows come in through beautiful stained glass windows. They said their vows while surrounded by their immediate families and afterwards we went downtown Chicago for some portraits. We hit up the Lurie gardens, Art Institute and one of the bridges overlooking the Chicago river. A special thanks to my brother Ben for driving us around! Congratulations to Lilly and Steven!!

Amanda and Bryan

I had the pleasure of photographing Amanda and Bryan’s wedding a couple of weeks ago at the beautiful Ridge Hotel in Lake Geneva. The ceremony was held on the patio just outside of the hotel and it was officiated by the bride’s brothers and they were cracking everybody up. It was such a lighthearted ceremony and they made the event feel full of love. Congrats to Amanda and Bryan and a special thanks to their bridal party for making it down to the lake on a blazing hot day for portraits. It was well worth it!
