Kaitlyn and Justin

I photographed Kaitlyn and Justin’s wedding a couple of weeks ago on a lovely October fall Saturday. I absolutely adore that the first thing we did was take some photos with their adorable puppy Sloane. She was really camera shy and I did my very best to be calm with her and was happy to get a few good ones. Their ceremony was held at the Buffalo Creek Brewery in Long Grove, IL so we took advantage of the beautiful fall scenery for portraits in the area including the Parker Coffin Bridge and the pumpkins set up for the fall fest going on downtown. It was an honor and privilege to photograph their marriage and to be a part of their day. Congratulations Kaitlyn and Justin!!

Izzy and Jon

Izzy and Jon got married a couple of weeks ago in Aurora, IL at the fabulous Two Brother’s Roundhouse. I keep wanting to call it the “Two Birds Roundhouse” but i have no affiliation with Two Brother’s, however, I do really like their beer. Haha

Izzy and Jon were a blast to work with. The theme of their wedding was movies and each of the tables were represented by different movie that they love and the favors were boxes of movie candies. I am pleased to say I got Reese’s Pieces at my spot. One of my favorite moments from their wedding is when Izzy surprised Jon when she worked in the Lord of the Rings “One ring to bind them all” quote into the vows. I laughed all day long with Izzy and Jon and I am so happy that I got to be their photographer. Enjoy the photos!!

Elizabeth & Dave

Elizabeth and Dave got married on a chilly December day the weekend after Christmas. Their ceremony was held at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Palos Heights and their reception was in the lower level at Trail’s Edge Brewing Company in Frankfort, IL. We braved the weather forecast and did all of our portraits around the charming downtown Frankfort area and took advantage of some cool spots for photos in Trail’s Edge. These two are so in love and I had the honor of being there to capture their day! -Jake
