Journal

A blog of our current photography work.

Kira and Yaniv

Kira and Yaniv had an incredible wedding at Salvage One, that was beautifully pulled together by the lovely and talented Kate Lerman of Chicago Vintage Weddings. Every part of their day was carefully curated to be as personal, and as eco-conscious as possible.

We loved that they biked to their venue, their amazing florals by Pollen and that they included their rescue dogs in the celebration!

A special thank you goes to Nick Holstein for being our second-shooter for the day. Always a pleasure to have you shooting alongside!

Please enjoy just a few of our favorite images from their wedding!

Ally and Tommy's Wedding

Ally and Tommy had such a wonderful day for their winter wedding, and they chose a dynamite team to pull it all together!  We loved their amazing color palette, and Kim from Bride + Joy Events was the perfect choice to make their incredible vision come to life!We can't say enough great things about their venue, Salvage One, one of our favorite spaces in the city!

Congratulations to Ally and Tommy, thanks so much for letting us be a part of your beautiful day!

Jessie and Omar's Wedding

Jessie and Omar got married at Salvage One a few weeks ago.  This venue is one of my favorite places to shoot at.  Seriously, everywhere you turn there's a cool place to take photos.  Jessie and Omar's ceremony took place inside the venue among rows of salvaged church pews and random chandeliers.  At the end of the night we had a ton of fun with the sparklers in front of the iconic Chicago sign. Enjoy the photos! -Jake

Michelle and Nick's Wedding

We really couldn't be happier with the weddings we have been privileged enough to shoot lately.  We had been dying to snag a wedding at Chicago's Salvage One, and were thrilled when Michelle and Nick asked us to shoot their wedding at this exact site! I went a little early to get some details I knew I might not have time for otherwise and was glad I did, because the weather decided not to cooperate that day -- tornadoes and such -- no big deal ;)

Michelle and Nick had such a clear vision for their day, and it came together seamlessly.  They had to adjust for the weather, but one would have never known it wasn't their original plan!  I had so much fun with them, and was so glad I was able to be a part of their day.

Please enjoy some of my favorite photos from this beautiful couple's wedding:

Congratulations, you two!
