A blog of our current photography work.

Peter and Sarah

It's always a special honor to be included in the weddings of our family.  Jennifer's cousin Peter, and his stunning bride, Sarah, had the sweetest DIY wedding at the Farnsley Moremen Landing in Louisville, KY a few weeks ago.  Their beautiful, heartfelt ceremony was filled with laughter and love, and we couldn't be happier for the two of them.

We loved all their delicate and simple details, and the way Peter couldn't take his eyes off of his new wife - or the smile from his face.  Our kids loved the ice cream bar, and exploring the beautiful grounds of the property!

Many congratulations to this amazing couple as they start their life together.

We love you!

Natalie and Ryan

Natalie and Ryan got married a couple of weeks ago at one of our favorite Chicago wedding venues, Salvage One.  It's a cool place to shop at but it's even cooler to have your wedding at!  Their day started with a few getting ready shots and some portraits at a place called Publishing House Bed and Breakfast. From there we went over to Salvage One to finish up our portraits before their indoor ceremony. We absolutely love all the mismatched pews and chandeliers that make up the ceremony space not to mention the giant elephant statues flanking the aisle.  After the ceremony Natalie and Ryan's bulldog Bodie made an appearance and stole the show for a bit.  It was such a good day and I loved being a part of their wedding.  Every detail was flawlessly coordinated by Kim Gapinski of Bride +Joy Events. She's amazing and if you are needing a coordinator you should check out her website!

Katia and Michael

Katia and Mike were married on beautiful summer day a couple weeks ago in the English Garden at the Chicago Botanic Gardens.  Every detail of their day was perfectly coordinated by Melissa from Clementine Custom Events. They are an amazing company and if you're looking for a coordinator definitely check them out! The Chicago Botanic Garden is one of those places that wherever I turn it is just beautiful and can shoot at all day long. Katia looked stunning in her wedding gown and Mike looked handsome in his blue suit. They were such an awesome couple to work for!

Thank you to Jamie Engelhardt for second shooting with me!  You can check out her amazing work here.

Russell and Valerie

I had the pleasure of photographing Russell and Valerie's wedding ceremony at the Unitarian Church in Hinsdale.  It was an intimate event and I felt very honored to be a part of it.  Usually I'm photographing for an entire day on the weekend but their wedding took only a couple of hours on weekday so it was nice to switch things up!  I still got to do a few portraits of them just outside the church before their dinner at Vie in Western Springs. I loved working with Valerie and Russell and spending time with their family and friends for the afternoon. Here's a few of my favorite photos from their wedding.

Shannon and John

Shannon and John got married a couple of weeks ago at Ovation in Chicago. Ovation was an old foundry that's been turned into an industrial loft space. Needless to say it's a really cool place to have a wedding!  Shannon and John were an awesome couple to work with and I enjoyed spending the day with them and going to all sorts of different locations around Chicago before their ceremony. Here's a few of my favorite photos from their day!
