A blog of our current photography work.

Abby and Cole

Abby and Cole got married a year ago but their church wasn’t open at the time. Now that things are opening back up they were able to get into the Chicago Illinois Temple in Glenview to have their marriage recognized by their church. They asked me to take some portraits of them and their families right after their ceremony. It was so much fun to capture them as they walked out and to celebrate with them for an hour. Thank you to Abby and Cole for having me be a part of their celebrations!

Tim and Julie

I love it when my couples plan to do photos at a location that is meaningful and special to them. Tim and Julie did their engagement portraits at Lilacia Park where Tim’s grandma was on the planting committee years ago. The lilacs were in full bloom when we were there and the sweet scent filled the air. And of course we got their puppy in some shots as well!

Matthews Family

Spring is my favorite season of the year. I get so excited seeing all of the leaves come back and all of the flowers come up out of the ground. It’s also a fantastic time for family portraits. The Matthews wanted to take advantage of the season and had me come take family portraits of them. We met at Northside Park in Wheaton and it was a total success! It look a little for the kids to warm up but by the end of the session they were having as much fun as me.

Henry's Newborn Portraits

A few months ago I did Cindy’s maternity portraits with the intention of following up with newborn photos. Well, Henry is here and I got to do his first portrait session the other week! He’s such a beautiful baby and his full head of hair is absolutely amazing. Congratulations to Cindy and Noah for starting their family!

Cameron and Julianne

Cameron and Julianne reached out to me for some engagement portraits that they want to use for their save the date cards. We set up a time to meet at Patriot’s Park for some spring like photos in nature and then made a stop in downtown Downers Grove for a more urban look. These two were quite natural in front of the camera and I had such a pleasure photographing them!
