Almost 6 years ago I photographed Anilla and Jay’s wedding and since then they’ve had me come do their family portraits several times. I swear their kids get cuter each session! Also, I love that they always get their extended family involved. They are such a wonderful family! -Jake

Abbie and Eric
Abbie and Eric had their wedding ceremony a couple of weeks ago at one of my favorite venues Salvage One. We started with a first look in the back patio and then walked around the building for portraits of the the two of them. There’s so many amazing spots around Salvage One that the hardest part about doing photos there is choosing which looks to go with. Abbie looked absolutely stunning in her dress and Eric couldn’t keep his eyes off of her! Their sweet ceremony was held outside in the garden surrounded by their immediate family and close friends (and their ring-pup!) followed by champagne and first dances. I cannot wait to party with them next year! -Jake

Gabriella and Patrick
I met up with Gabriella and Patrick the other day for some engagement portraits at one of my favorite spots, St. James Farm. It turns out we did these photos exactly one year before their wedding day! They were so easy to work with and I felt like they kept reading my mind with the poses I was wanted to do. It was wonderful spending an hour with them and getting to know them a little more. Special thanks to Gabriella’s mom who brought over their pups for some photos at the end of the session! -Jake
Browne Family
Last week I did some photos of the Browne family on nice and sunny fall day in Chicago. I’ve done photos with them a few times and Juliette is now getting into having her portraits taken. All the solo photos of her were her own poses with minimal direction from me! Such a great session! -Jake
Sarah and Bill
Sarah and Bill got married a couple of weeks ago at the stylish FireHouse Chicago. They had their first look in front of the giant old school firehouse doors in front and then we walked around the venue taking advantage of all the opportunities presented to us for portraits. It was an absolute pleasure spending a couple of hours capturing their ceremony and hanging out with their family and friends for cupcakes and champagne. Congratulations Sarah and Bill! I can’t wait to see you again next year! -Jake
