Summer is here and with that comes many lovely outdoor weddings. Hannah and Stephen had their ceremony in the picturesque Rose Garden at Cantigny Park. We did a first look with Hannah and her dad as well as with Stephen before the ceremony and lots of portraits around Cantigny before they got married. Their reception was held at Hawthorne’s Backyard in West Chicago. Hawthorne’s was so much fun and I was highly entertained by the competitive game of Waffle Ball that took place. That’s not something you see at every wedding, haha. I had so much fun photographing Hannah and Stephen’s wedding and being a part of their perfect summer event. Congratulations!!

Izzy and Jon
Izzy and Jon got married a couple of weeks ago in Aurora, IL at the fabulous Two Brother’s Roundhouse. I keep wanting to call it the “Two Birds Roundhouse” but i have no affiliation with Two Brother’s, however, I do really like their beer. Haha
Izzy and Jon were a blast to work with. The theme of their wedding was movies and each of the tables were represented by different movie that they love and the favors were boxes of movie candies. I am pleased to say I got Reese’s Pieces at my spot. One of my favorite moments from their wedding is when Izzy surprised Jon when she worked in the Lord of the Rings “One ring to bind them all” quote into the vows. I laughed all day long with Izzy and Jon and I am so happy that I got to be their photographer. Enjoy the photos!!
Bella and Spencer
I just absolutely adore Bella and Spencer and their style. Their cheerful and bright personalities lit up my day and it was easy to forget about the rain when I was with them. I was delighted every time I found a butterfly in their decor. Their wedding ceremony took place at St. Joseph’s in Libertyville followed by a reception at the classy Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. Special thanks to Nick Holstein for photographing alongside me. Cheers to Bella and Spencer and I wish them many blessings!! -Jake
