Kaitlin and Mike's Engagement Session

A couple weeks ago I met up with Kaitlin and Mike for some engagement portraits at the beautiful Chicago Botanic Garden. Here's a few of my favorite photos from their session. They mentioned that they wanted something a little different so I shot a couple of rolls on film. The Pentax 6x7 is a beast but it makes really cool images. I can't wait to photograph their wedding next summer! -Jake

Angela and Luke's Portrait Session

A couple of weeks ago I met up with Angela and Luke for a few post-wedding portraits in downtown Hinsdale. I love shooting in old downtown areas as I usually find lots of scenes to photograph in.  Downtown Hinsdale is actually where Jennifer and I had our engagement portraits taken and being there brought back some memories!  Here's a few photos from their shoot! -Jake

Lindsay and David's Engagement Session

I met up with Lindsay and David a couple weeks ago for their engagement session in Chicago.  It was an amazing summer evening and we hit up a ton of spots downtown.  We started at the Ohio street beach and went next door for the view at Olive Park.  However, we didn't stop there and walked to Navy pier, took a cab to Millennium Park and finally walked down to the Riverwalk.  It was a fantastic session and I always feel so blessed that I get to capture these small moments of the lives of people in love! -Jake

Jean and Robert's Engagement Session

I met up with Jean and Robert on a crisp but sunny spring day in Chicago for their engagement session.  We started at the Nature Boardwalk in Lincoln Park and then hit up a few spots downtown.  I'm so excited to photograph them on their wedding day in June! -Jake

Kaitlin and Matt's Engagement Session

Happy Easter! Last week I met up with Kaitlin and Matt to do their engagement photos downtown Chicago. We started at the Art Institute, walked through Millennium Park, up to the Wrigley Building and the Riverwalk, and finished our session on a bridge and even got the "L" in a few. I guess we were all over the place!
