Lauren and John's Wedding

We got to take a little road trip for this wedding.  John and Lauren were married on Lauren's parent's property near Mammoth Caves, Kentucky.  We have family near there, so we loaded up our boys, and made a mini family get-away out of it! The scenery was breathtaking.  Lauren and John were married at the height of Autumn's glory and they took full advantage.

They wed in front of a beautiful waterfall, surrounded by ferns, towering trees and the rich colors of Fall.  Lauren is an event planner by profession, so we knew she would be pulling out all the stops.  From the Maker's Mark dipping station to the Cigar Bar at the reception, she did just that!

We had so much fun shooting their wedding, and are honored that they asked us to be a part of their day.

Ben and Anna's Wedding

Ben and Anna, who you may remember from their darling engagement Session featured on Brooklyn Bride, had an absolutely gorgeous wedding.  Anna's sweet smile and Ben's contagious grin had everyone beaming all day long. The ladies got ready at  Hotel Renaissance Chicago, and Ben and Anna's first look on the terrace was absolutely perfect.  Windy, but perfect!  We stopped at the Lincoln Park Conservatory for a few portraits before heading over to Galleria Marchetti for their beautiful ceremony and reception.

Ben and Anna, we had so much fun capturing your special day.  Thank you for letting us be a part of it!

Emily and Jeremiah's Wedding

We shot this adorable outdoor wedding at the Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake this summer. The sweet DIY details are to die for, her dress is perfection, and that puppy... well you know how we feel about animals!

Kendahl and Nick's Wedding

Kendahl and Nick had a beautiful early Autumn wedding at Salvage One in Chicago. They were so sweet, and so in love!  It was great to be among such genuine people who made me feel so welcome on their special day.  They were fortunate to have perfect weather for their wedding, and their beautiful ceremony was held outside in the courtyard - which I was thrilled about! I was also excited to go up on the rooftop and take some shots of the bride and groom overlooking the city.

During the reception, Kendahl and Nick had an amazing Cake Bar that wowed the guests (as well as myself).  There was a lot of love and laughter, and the evening ended with a few night portraits in the courtyard.
