Two Birds Portrait Photography
Yes, we promote weddings heavily as that is the main bulk of what we do. But we do much more than just follow couples around on the weekends! We get asked to do portraits all the time so I thought I should do a post of some of our favorite portraits from this past 1 and a half years. Hope you enjoy seeing a little variety in our photographic ability!
The Kramer Family!
I am so happy that I am finally able to share these family photos with you! We've been talking about getting together for portraits for what seems like years! In these photos you will see a happy little family of 8. Two awesome parents, four little blonde haired cuties and their two gorgeous, newly adopted children. But really, they're a family of 10. Mamma Heather is expecting a baby boy in March -- we can't wait to meet him! And, what you don't see from these photos, is that Karl and Heather are also parents to little Weston who would have been five this past February. These photos are bittersweet, as they were the first family photos taken with their two new children, but without their oldest son.
Jake and I were so moved as each child brought a small memento that represented their brother to them. As the kids held up their objects to be photographed, and I quickly brushed away my tears, I knew that Wes was there with us. Participating in his family's photos.
Karl and Heather are two incredibly wonderful people, passionate about God and family. Jake and I were so honored to do their family photos a just few short weeks ago. All of their kids were so fun, sweet, and beautiful. They really made our job so easy :) Even Spoko, the Golden Retriever, happily hammed it up for the shoot!

We love you guys!

Stephanie and Eric's Engagement Session
Working with our amazing clients is always a pleasure -- but it's not often our whole family gets to mix business and pleasure :) This time, however, was the exception! Stephanie and Eric wanted to do their Engagement photos in Saugatuck, MI and offered to put our little family up in a cabin while we were there. So we were able to have a little summer family get away! We had so much fun, and our son, Graysen, had an absolute blast at the beach!
We started Stephanie and Eric's session in downtown Saugatuck, and hit up all the local hotspots. Including Kilwin's for some ice cream -- a necessity because we were shooting on the hottest day of the year so far :) We also went to the place where Stephanie and Eric got engaged (perfect) and ended the day on beautiful Oval Beach!
Here are a few of our favorites from their session!
It was so fun working with you guys!
We can't wait for your wedding next year!!
