2011 Images, Part 1

Wow! It has been an INCREDIBLE year and I want to thank all of my wonderful clients for having me photograph their weddings.  I really wish I could showcase each and every one of their photographs on here.  I also want to thank my wife for putting up with me disappearing on every Saturday (and some Fridays and Sundays), Ryan Timm who talked me into going to a Film is Not Dead workshop over a year ago, and Jonathan Canlas who inspired me to start shooting film again.  I feel so inspired and am looking forward to this coming year! ANYWAYS, please enjoy some of my favorite images from this year. I will be posting more over the next couple of days.

Dane and Anne's Wedding

This adorable couple had the perfect day for their Fall nuptials!  They were wed outside at the Country Mansion in Dwight, IL - a place we've shot at a time or two before, and it's fun to see how each couple brings their own touch to the space! Dane and Anne are so adorable together that it was hard for us to pick out only a couple of our favorite portraits!  Please enjoy our selection of images from their day!

Kathleen and Gabe's Courthouse Wedding

Kat and Gabe's wedding  -- what an awesome event! Kat and Gabe redefined "Courthouse Wedding".  Their whole day was spent in and around the Lake County, IN Courthouse and it was beautiful. Every detail, carefully crafted by the bride {and friends}, was charming and adorable.  I especially loved the table numbers featuring their rescued Border Collie pup, Dr.Winston Von MacNCheese!

Although the weather was slightly disagreeable, we managed to get plenty of outside portraits and the rest were done inside the beautiful courthouse!

Please enjoy a few of our favorites from their wedding:

Congrats again on a beautiful wedding!!

Chris and Allie's Wedding

This is the wedding of my cousin, Chris, and his beautiful bride, Allie.  Chris and Allie were married on Labor Day morning, in an intimate garden ceremony at the Whitehall Mansion in Lousiville, KY. It's pretty rare that we start our day while it is still dark, in fact, I don't think we've ever started shooting that early!  But, both being coffee connoisseurs, Chris and Allie had us covered in the coffee department!

This was such a beautiful wedding, and I'm not just saying that because they're family, and I want to be nice.  It was truly one of the most beautiful, personal, sweetest weddings I've ever been to.  Chris made almost all the food; Quiche, biscottis, and the most delicious Paninis I've ever tasted. The local coffee shop, Quills did all the coffee -- and although it was their first time doing an event like this, they were fantastic!  The baristas were awesome and the coffee was  a m a z i n g !

Please enjoy a few of our favorite photos from their day:
